BARTENDER
We are looking craft beer enthusiasts and craft beer pros to join our team as a Bartender in Ambler or Lansdale!
Our Lansdale taproom is the first of two locations open since 2018. Lansdale has a full restaurant, entertainment venue, and operating brewery.
Well Crafted Ambler is a larger production brewery with an indoor/outdoor taproom and beer garden that was opened in 2022 within Ambler Yards and has an on-site food truck operated by Comfort at Ambler.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include, but not limited to:
SERVE DRINKS

Pour draft beer, prepare cocktails, fill crowlers and growlers.

Prep ingredients for cocktails including chopping fruit, making a syrup, or prepping infusions.
EDUCATE CUSTOMERS

Assess customer needs and preferences. Recommend beer, wine, spirits (including cocktails and happy hour specials), and food (understanding preparation, allergies, and substitutions). Stay current on tap lists, new releases, specials, events, and promotions.

Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
SALES
-
Suggestively sell menu items, new releases, specials, and offer take-out beer/merchandise.
COMPLAINCE
-
Enforce state/company alcohol policy: ID under 35, refuse service to intoxicated guests, ensure all consumption is 21+ by checking customer identification and confirm they are of legal drinking age.
OPERATIONS
-
Collect payments (tabs/separate checks).
-
Complete opening, closing, and side-work checklists, including setting up, restocking, inventory, and cleaning.
FOOD
-
Suggest items, run dishes from the kitchen to the guest, make suggestions, communicate specials, roll silverware.

May include setting up and breaking down catering for special events.

HOST

The host is the first person our guests experience when coming to Well Crafted. This position is critical to making the best first impression by providing excellent and organized customer service from start to finish.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include, but not limited to:
Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
● Manage and schedule reservations in Resy, seat guests and manage the seating chart.
● Maintain a clean hostess desk and clean menus.
● Cater to guests that need extra attention like children and elderly.
● Provide guests with menus and answer guests questions.
● Be guest oriented and a positive representative.
SEATING MANAGEMENT

Manage the waitlist and reservations using our seating software to ensure efficient table turnover.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Strong customer service skills both in person and on the phone, organized and capable in managing reservations, works well under pressure, understands restaurant etiquette, being a friendly and outgoing team player, weekend availability.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Station Execution: Set up, stock, and organize your designated station with all necessary ingredients and tools before service begins.
